WHO WE ARE
We are young dreamers with deep roots, with an innate passion for winemaking and a profound respect for our land. We are in love with everything around us and personally oversee every phase of the production process, from harvesting to bottling. Our dedication is reflected in every bottle we produce. We believe that care and attention to detail are essential to crafting excellent wines.

Pasquale, Founder of Curtomartino

Massimo Francesco and Michelino, Guardians of the Vineyard and Winery
Curtomartino is the birthplace of Puglia’s Primitivo, an ancient grape variety with roots tracing back to the Balkans, a “sister” land to our region. Curtomartino represents the Karst of Puglia, a land renowned for its great reds and untapped potential in producing white wines from indigenous grape varieties. The cave encapsulates this story, intertwining natural and historical elements that bind our narrative together. The tale of Curtomartino unfolds through the rediscovery of these roots and their continuous narration through our products and wines. Modern and contemporary, yet respectful of tradition’s authenticity, the wines of Curtomartino are the “natural” elements of this tale of excellence.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We are deeply committed to sustainable viticulture, respecting the environment and natural resources. We use cover crops and are converting our lands to organic farming. From vineyard care to grape selection, every phase of the process is meticulously followed to ensure a final product that meets the highest quality standards.
The Territory
A rich and welcoming land, for centuries crossroads of ancient peoples who found their ideal habitat in Acquaviva delle Fonti. Thanks to the particularly favourable climate and especially due to the presence of aquifers, our territory has become a benchmark for producing high-quality agricultural products.
The Winery
In the winery, we safeguard the fruit of the land, doing so with respect and simplicity, carefully preserving the qualities and characteristics of each vineyard and different production areas. We vinify in temperature-controlled steel tanks and mature the wines primarily in French oak barriques and Clayver in porcelain stoneware. Our intent is to preserve the freshness, character, and identity of each individual wine.
